For racing enthusiasts, the "Family on the Road" competition on Saturday offers the perfect chance to put your skills to the test!
The Schaeffler Mini Drive is a unique event at Debrecen Drive, where the youngest racers get to compete in a Formula 1-style race series!
At the Mini Drive, teams of 5- to 12-year-old children take on agility and speed challenges with their own uniquely designed “race cars”.
Companies, institutions, and organizations can sign up to decorate and “tune” the race cars. In previous years, participants included Schaeffler, Krones, DKV Zrt., Zsuzsi Train, and the University of Debrecen.
During the race, kids will compete in both agility and speed challenges, such as:
Parking challenges
Obstacle courses
Tire changes
"Refueling”
Acceleration tests
The Schaeffler Mini Drive offers children a truly immersive experience—from the pit lane to the waving checkered flag, and even a podium champagne celebration with kid-friendly bubbly. Every moment brings the thrill of real motorsport, letting young participants feel like true race car drivers or copilots!
